Harvey Silver Hodgkinson are pleased to announce the sale of a fantastically located cafe and coffee shop in Hale Barns. The business traded as The Laughing Elephant before the recently completed sale. There is a New Syrian and Middle-Eastern restaurant opening in its place.

Our Client

The previous owner lives locally and had owned the business since May 2017. Our client decided to put the business on the market in order to devote his time to other business commitments. Our client has no plans to open another food business any time soon and will look to focus his attention on his property business. We would like to wish our client all the best with all future endeavors.

Purchaser

Mr Khaled Al Sabbah and Ms Kim Rowbottom also live in Cheshire and have been registered with Harvey Silver Hodgkinson since 2002. The business was available for less than two weeks before an offer was accepted. The business will trade under the name ‘Syriana’ opening 7 days per week following a full refurbishment which is underway. The team at Syriana hope for a grand restaurant opening in September, delighting locals with dishes uncluding; shwarma, kebab and humus. We would like to wish Khaled and Kim all the best with their new business venture.
