On the 24th October 2011 Manchester City Council decided to change their parking policies in the centre of Manchester and in brief the changes comprised of:
2 hours were added to meters around the city, enforcing an 8.00am-8.00pm Monday to Saturday charging period for parking in a bay
No single yellow line parking at anytime
Sunday parking charges became the same as any other day in the city, with meter charges from 8.00am – 8.00pm for bay parking and no free parking and no parking allowed on single yellow lines. Read more >

The five leading UK banks have missed their target for lending to smaller companies by £1.1 billion. The banks blamed the shortfall on fewer firms coming forward for credit and a spokesman for the banks said demand for credit from small companies fell last year and ‘remained weak’. Read more >

The Lucky Dragon takeaway situated on Moorside Road in Heaton Moor, Stockport has been sold on the first day of the Chinese New Year and the year of the Dragon. The Chinese takeaway with 3 bedroom accommodation has been owned by Ms Fan since 1975 who is looking to retire. The purchaser had registered with Harvey Silver Hodgkinson in 2009 to receive our email campaigns for takeaways for sale and over that time had received each and every takeaway business we had been requested to market.
