HAIR SALON COMPLETES WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF INSTRUCTION

November 23, 2007:  A buyer for a Bredbury Hair salon was found within 3 days of instruction.  Harvey Silver Hodgkinson were instructed to act on behalf of the vendor on 8 November 2007.  Within 24 hours the information particulars were prepared and an email campaign containing brief details of the salon was emailed to potential purchasers on 11 November 2007. On the 12 November 2007 the purchaser followed the link on the email enabling her to register and download the full details of the business concerned. A viewing of the premises with our client was arranged for the 20 November 2007 and offer was made the same day.  After Harvey Silver Hodgkinson satisfied the landlord’s requirements for the completion took place on the 23 November 2007.

NOVEMBER 12, 2007: Harvey Silver Hodgkinson secured a new tenant for GRENDON PROPERTIES within 17 days of being instructed.  The property at 301 Stockport Road, Denton achieved a rent of £7,540 per annum and the new tenants will be opening a sandwich bar.   Seven viewings were made at the premises within just 6 days after the instruction to market the premises. The unit was placed on the market October 25, 2007, emailed to potential clients on October 26 with immediate responses for requests for viewings.  Harvey Silver Hodgkinson made all landlords enquiries and 21 year lease with 3 yearly rent reviews was signed November 11, 2007.

We recently sold a chain of sandwich bars, originally our clients were looking to sell the business as a whole chain, with all the business being sold together, one price.

We began marketing this and with the price being a high price for 5 sandwich bars, we eventually completed the sale of the businesses to 3 clients, one purchased 3 sandwich bars whilst the other 2 were sold to private individuals, however the price we achieved was in excess of the original asking price and the sales proceeded smoothly and were completed within 4-6 weeks of a buyer being found.
